Just as muslim Faithful across the globe mark the new Islamic year, popularly known as Hijrah,the Executive Chairman of Amuwo Odofin local government ,Engr Valentine Oluwaseyi Buraimoh, known as VOB has felicitated with the Muslim Ummah on the auspicious occasion of the Islamic New Year 1446 A.H.
The Council Chairman's felicitation was contained in a press release issued by his media office on Sunday where the council boss shared in the joy of the new Islamic year .
"As we mark this significant milestone, I extend my warmest felicitations to our Muslim brothers and sisters in Amuwo Odofin local government,the state , Nigeria and beyond.
"According to him "As we celebrate this auspicious occasion, I urge all our Muslim Brothers and sisters to reflect on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad, which is the bedrock of nation-building. His teachings that emphasizes the importance of honesty, justice, compassion, and selflessness.".
He equally used the occasion to commend the people of Amuwo Odofin for the confidence reposed in him as the Chairman,promising that his administration will continue to strive for the best for the people ,assuring that all on going projects will be completed at record time
Engr Buraimoh also appealed to Nigerians to continue to pray for the progress and development of the country at this critical period , stressing that the Tinubu's administration will restore the lost glory of the country ,that it's needs the cooperation of all
"Once again, I congratulate the Muslim Ummah on this joyous occasion. May the teachings of Prophet Muhammad continue to guide us, and may we strive to build a better future for ourselves and generations to come"
