#85,000 Minimim Wage, LPA Commends Gov Sanwoolu





Pan Lagos group,The Lagos People's Assembly (LPA), has commended Governor Babajide Olushola Sanwoolu and members of the state executive council for the recent approval of eighty five thousand naira (#85,000), as minimum wage for Lagos workers. 


The group stressed that the Lagos state Government has taken the lead again as "pace setter state in Nigeria. "


LPA position was made known on Sunday in a press release by the media department signed by its Convener, Comrade Gbenga Soloki, where it was stated that Governor Sanwoolu has equally displayed uncommon courage and commitment to the welfare of Lagos workers 


The group therefore admonished the workers to reciprocate the good gesture of government by rededicating themselves to work by always engaging in productive ventures 


In his words "on behalf of the board and members of our group, the Lagos People's Assembly (LPA),I want to congratulate Mr Governor for the announcement of the minimum wage of eighthy five thousand naira (#85,000), for workers in the state. Lagos state by this has scored another first and shown it's leadership in the comity of states in Nigeria. 


"Lagos is the pace setter in the country and this is another testimony to the fact that Lagos remains the center of excellence.Governor, we are proud of you and appreciate your leadership sagacity, " LPA said
