NASFAT @ 30: LEADERS SHARE NASFAT STRIDES AS AGENT OF CHANGE





The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) commemorated its 30th anniversary with a world press conference held at the Multipurpose Hall, CBD, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos. 


The event showcased three decades of impactful achievements and unveiled aspirations for the future, reaffirming NASFAT’s status as a leading agent of change within the Islamic community and beyond.


In his address, NASFAT President, Alhaji Ayodeji Abdulwahid Abdulrauf, FCS, expressed gratitude to Allah (SWT) for guiding the society’s journey. 


He highlighted NASFAT’s evolution from a modest prayer group into a global organization with over 360 locations, 28 primary schools, 8 secondary schools, 5 hospitals, and Fountain University as a crown jewel as well as NAZAS, HAVEK Leadership Academy, TAFSAN Investments Limited, TAFSAN Travels & Tours, Kiin Media, NASHIN, NASFAT Missionary Institute.

He noted NASFAT’s unwavering commitment to fostering peace, tolerance, and purposeful leadership. “Through strategic agility, we’ve modernized operations, enhanced transparency, and established a stronger online presence to meet the challenges of today’s dynamic world,” Abdulrauf said.


Alhaji Ishaq Kayode Osinuga, Chairman of the 30th Anniversary Committee, reflected on NASFAT’s transformation into a platform for leadership development, sustainable empowerment, and Da’wah initiatives. He called on the media to showcase NASFAT as a model of Islam’s true essence, appealing for support during the celebration.


Chief Missioner, Imam Maroofdeen AbdulAzeez Onike, shared NASFAT’s success stories, emphasizing its role in spiritual and societal development. National Women Affairs Secretary, Alhaja Ganiyat Omowunmi Babalola, lauded NASFAT women for their milestones, while National Youth Secretary, Alhaji Olasupo, praised the youth’s mentorship and career successes.


Representing the Board of Trustees Chairman, Oloye Remi Babalola, commended NASFAT’s inclusive and impactful approach to Islamic values. National Elders’ Council Chairman, Alhaji Yunis Olalekan Saliu, applauded past and present leaders for their dedication to fostering peace and unity.


Zonal Chairman of Lagos Zone 1, Engr. Mustapha Abiodun Alabi, emphasized the quality and strength of NASFAT’s members, noting its presence in over 360 global locations.


As NASFAT embarks on its 30th-anniversary activities, it remains committed to innovation, collaboration, and addressing pressing global challenges, guided by the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
