As the sacred month of Dhul Hijjah approaches, the Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) has flagged off its TAFSAN Qurbani 2025 campaign — a powerful blend of spiritual fulfillment and humanitarian outreach. Rooted in the noble tradition of Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and guided by the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), Qurbani serves as both an act of devotion and a channel of compassion. “The act most pleasing to Allah during the days of Qurbani is the sacrifice of animals,” said the Prophet, “and the sacrificed animals shall come on the Day of Judgement with its horns, hair, and hooves” [Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah].
This year’s campaign is more urgent than ever. With inflation and poverty surging across the globe, many families — especially widows, orphans, and the elderly — face daily struggles with hunger. For thousands, Eid al-Adha is not just a celebration, but a rare opportunity to eat meat. NASFAT’s Qurbani program ensures clean, halal, and safely distributed meat reaches those most in need, making your sacrifice an act of mercy and survival for others.
To participate, NASFAT offers two flexible options: N200,000 for a complete end-to-end Qurbani service where NASFAT purchases, slaughters, and distributes on your behalf; and N250,000 and above if you prefer your ram delivered to your doorstep (delivery charges apply). Each sacrifice doesn’t just fulfill a religious duty — it spreads hope, joy, and nourishment to entire households, while ensuring full transparency and accountability.
NASFAT President, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, commended the program and encouraged all Muslims — within and beyond the NASFAT family — to get involved. “This is our chance to demonstrate unity, to heal through giving, and to let Eid reach every corner of society. Let us be the reason smiles return to forgotten faces,” he said, urging early participation in the Qurbani drive.
Backing this, NASFAT’s Chief Missioner, Imam Maroofdeen AbdulAzeez Onike, affirmed that the Qurbani arrangement is fully halal and Shari’ah-compliant. He described the campaign as one that not only honors Islamic obligations but also spreads the true spirit of Eid — compassion, unity, and communal support. “This act brings reward in the Hereafter and impact in this world,” he added.
Beyond the spiritual value, TAFSAN Qurbani also boosts the economy by engaging local farmers, ram traders, butchers, and transport workers.
