A middle age man,Lukman Saint Baruwa has cried out over the threat to his life and that of his family by a cult group,which has been responsible for him to be living in constant fear in the last one year,while he is seeing succour from all well meaning Nigerians
He disclosed to this media outfit that on the 3rd of December 2024, he was abducted at his place of work and taken to an unknown destination,where he was subjected to severe beaten and his body inflicted with injuries ,which led him to being hospitalized for over a week
He said his trouble ,he later realized was caused by his lady friend,who was at the same time was involved in intimacy with the leader of the dreaded cult group ,also known as "Axe Men".
He claimed that the the dreaded cult leader felt insulted by his attempt to drag a lady with him and gave order that he must be dealt with physically for it and his hitmen have continued to prowl his area if residence and work place which made him flee ,to avoid their further assault
According to him "My Names is Lukman Saint Baruwa a Muslim,with 2 children namely:Abdul-Ganui Le'roy Baruwa and Abdul-khaleed IREMIDE Baruwa. I was born on the 24th May,1982 in Lagos,Nigeria"
"On December 3, 2024, I was violently abducted from my workplace at Club Royale in Ikeja, on Oba Akran Road where I serve as a manager.The attack and attempts to kill me was orchestrated by a culti group, known as AXE MEN. I was in a relationship with a woman which I considered my girlfriend,but unknown to me,she was also dating the gang leader of the deadly cult group,this resulted in severe physical assault and robbery,and attempt to assassinate me "
Continuing "the gang, armed with cutlasses,and other dangerous weapons took me to an undisclosed location, where I was beaten and deprived of valuable possessions, including a diamond wristwatch. After attempting to escape, I collapsed and was subsequently hospitalized for a week"
He posited that his fear grew much when he realized that the strong connection being wielded by the cult group informed his decision to go into hibernation to ensure safety of himself and his family members
He is finally calling on security agents to come to his aid at this crucial period and stave off danger lurking around him as he continues to receive death threat from several unknown persons
The dangerous activities of cult groups across the state has been of utmost concern to several people
