Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja narrowly survived an assassination attempt early this morning, just days after handing down a life sentence to Nnamdi Kanu.
He was rush-transported to a hospital, while security forces scrambled to secure the area
His car was riddled with bullet which was an indication of a calculated attempt to snuff life out of the fearless Judge
One source called it an absolute outrage—“a judge can’t be silenced just for doing his job.”
Another insider warned, “If justice is under attack, then the very foundation of the law is being threatened.”
This shocking incident comes amid rising tensions following Kanu’s conviction. But as of now, key details remain murky—authorities haven’t confirmed those behind the attack, or whether anyone has been arrested
