The Lagos State Government under the office of Political, Legislative and Civic Engagement led by the Special Adviser to, Dr Afolabi Abiodun Tajudeen opened the new year with another round of Eko Cares financial empowerment programme, yesterday8th January at the conference room of the Ministry.
The Special Adviser, Dr Afolabi speaking on behalf of the Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu reiterated the commitment of the Government to the welfare and economic life of every residents of Lagos State, hence the decision to give support and assistance at every interval .
He assured Lagosians of bumper packages this year as the Government has earmarked substantial amount to the Eko Cares programme to take care of residents who are genuinely in need and provide relevant documents to substantiate their claims.
He advised beneficiaries to make judicious use of the money given to them in the new year, to encourage more of it and inspire others to benefit.
