The Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Ondo State, announces that Dr Olukayode Abraham Ajulo, OON, SAN, has been selected as a distinguished panellist at the Justice Matters Conference 2026, organised by the Hague Institute for Innovation of Law (HiiL).
The high-level international conference, scheduled for 6–8 May 2026 with the main plenary on 7 May 2026 at the iconic Peace Palace in The Hague, Netherlands, will convene global leaders, policymakers, jurists, and investors to advance people-centred justice systems.
The gathering will focus on making justice a frontline strategy for stability, conflict prevention, peacebuilding, and sustainable development.
As a panellist, Dr Ajulo will bring valuable insights drawn from Nigeria’s justice sector reforms, with particular emphasis on access to justice, rule of law, and innovative approaches suitable for African contexts.
Commenting on the invitation, Dr Ajulo, OON, SAN, said:
“I am deeply honoured by this invitation from HiiL to contribute to the global conversation on people-centred justice. Justice remains the bedrock of stability, prosperity, and democratic governance. The Attorney General will be in The Hague from 5th to 9th May 2026. He is expected to engage with international counterparts, development partners, and justice innovators during the conference.
This participation underscores Ondo State’s commitment to justice sector transformation and reinforces Nigeria’s voice in shaping global discourse on the rule of law and institutional innovation.
