Police Seize Illicit Drug ,Canadian Loud Worth #7.8 Billion, Reject #500 Million Bribe




 


Some Police officers in collaboration with (NDLEA) Officers have reportedly rejected a ₦500 million bribe allegedly offered by a drug suspect following the interception of illicit substances popularly known as “Canadian Loud” valued at about ₦7.8 billion.


According to reports, the suspect was arrested during a major anti-narcotics operation, while the large consignment of illegal drugs was recovered by authorities.


The agency commended its officers for demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and commitment in the fight against drug trafficking and organized crime in Nigeria.


The development has generated widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians praising the officers for refusing the huge bribe despite the economic challenges facing the country.


Investigations into the case are ongoing as authorities intensify efforts to dismantle drug trafficking networks across the nation.
