The Electoral Institute (TEI) has commenced the conduct of a Five-day Technical Training Workshop on "Effective Management of Key Electoral Processes and Activites" at Koltotel Plaza and Suites, GRA Ado-Ekiti.
The major objective of the workshop is to ensure that participants are fully informed, up-to-date, and aware of the most recent developments and or changes regarding all electoral processes and procedures for the conduct of elections in Nigeria, including new innovations by the Commission.
The participants of the workshop are the Head of Department Electoral Operations, the State Training Officer (STO), Assistant State Training Officer (ASTO), Electoral Officers (EOs), Assistant Electoral Officers(AEOs) Administration, Operations, and Cluster, as well as Local Government Training Officers (LGTOs) of all sixteen Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Ekiti State.
The workshop was declared open by the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) Ekiti State, Dr. Bunmi Omoseyindemi, who was accompanied by the Administrative Secretary of INEC Ekiti, Mr. Tope Aina.
This workshop is the first in a series of trainings for both permanent and Adhoc personnel in preparation for the forthcoming Ekiti State Governorship Elections scheduled for 20th June 2026.
