The National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency (NESREA), Delta State Field Office, paid a courtesy visit to the Delta State Ministry of Information as part of efforts to strengthen inter-agency collaboration and enhance public awareness on environmental issues.
Leading the delegation, the State Coordinator, Mr. Enoch Anyankpele, highlighted the importance of strategic partnerships in promoting environmental protection and achieving sustainable development goals within the state.
During the visit, both organizations discussed areas of mutual interest, particularly on environmental communication, public sensitization, and stakeholder engagement.
The discussions also explored ways of utilizing the Ministry's communication platforms to increase awareness on environmental regulations, encourage compliance, and promote responsible environmental practices among the public.
