‎LNSC ARRESTS THREE OVER ALLEGED BURGLARY IN EREDO

 



‎Operatives of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps (LNSC), Eredo Command, have arrested three suspects over alleged burglary, stealing and criminal conspiracy at Odogbonle CDA, Eredo. A scrap dealer was also arrested in connection with the alleged purchase of stolen cables.

‎Residents alerted the Command at about 6:30 a.m. after alleged burglaries at the apartments of Mr. Fadilulai Onabajo, Mr. Oluwaseun Areh and Mr. Oladunjoye Yusuf. Operatives arrested Philip Jurgak of Plateau State, while further investigation led to the arrests of Julius Daniel and Ubah Sunday, both from Benue State.

‎Preliminary findings reportedly linked the suspects to alleged thefts of cable wires, iron rods, clothes, footwear and other items from the affected buildings on 14 August and 15 September 2026. Community members reportedly apprehended Jurgak while he was allegedly moving items on a motorcycle and alerted the LNSC.

‎Scrap dealer Mustapha Bello was also arrested over allegations that he purchased some of the stolen and burnt cables.

‎The suspects were transferred to Noforija Police Station for further investigation and possible prosecution. All allegations remain subject to investigation and due process.

‎The General Manager of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency, Prince Dr. Ifalade Oyekan, FISN, commended Odogbonle CDA residents for their vigilance and prompt reporting, reaffirming the Agency’s commitment to community-based intelligence gathering, rapid response and crime prevention across Lagos State
