"REITERATES COMMITMENT TO SAFETY OF STUDENTS AND STAFF"
The Management of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, under the leadership of *Alhaji Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi*, today received in audience the *Area Commander, Ikirun Area Command, Nigeria Police Force, Osun State Command*.
The visit is part of the institution’s strategic plan to strengthen security architecture and safeguard the lives and property of students and staff.
The Area Commander was accompanied by the *Divisional Police Officer, Boripe Local Government Area*.
Speaking during the visit, the Rector, *Alhaji Kehinde Adeyemi Alabi*, expressed appreciation to the Nigeria Police Force for their continued support.
He said:
*“The security and welfare of our students and staff remain our top priority. This collaboration with the Nigeria Police is a deliberate step to ensure that Osun State Polytechnic, Iree remains a safe environment for learning and service delivery. We are committed to working closely with security agencies to nip crime in the bud.”*
In his response, the Area Commander, Ikirun Area Command, commended the Management for the proactive approach to security.
He stated:
*“We appreciate the leadership of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree for this partnership. The Police are ready to collaborate with the institution to ensure adequate protection of lives and property. We urge students and staff to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activities promptly.”*
Both parties agreed to deepen intelligence sharing and increase police visibility around the campus and its environs.
