LSSC TO COLLABORATE WITH REAL ESTATE GAMES ORGANISER

The Lagos State Sports Commission (LSSC) has declared its willingness to form a long-term strategic partnership with the Real Estate Games organiser in its sports development drive.

Honourable Lekan Fatodu, Director-General of LSSC, stated this during a courtesy visit to the Commission by the convener of the Games, Amuda Marygold.

He said the partnership would commence with the 2026 edition taking place at the University of Lagos Sports Complex from 30th October. Fatodu described the Games as a unique social corporate responsibility initiative for sports development, corporate engagement, and community building across the sector.

Following previous editions in Lagos and Abuja, the 2026 event will bring together real estate companies nationwide for competition, while opening its doors to the general public for networking, entertainment, and spectator activities.

The DG commended the convener for creating an elevated corporate social responsibility (CSR) framework through sports. "Real estate within Lagos State is one of our most vibrant, lucrative, and impactful subsectors," said Lekan Fatodu.

"Bringing such a potent and visible community together under the umbrella of sports speaks to the power of unity and progress. This is not a one-off engagement; we are ready for the long run. The Lagos State Sports Commission will deploy all necessary institutional support to ensure this event is a resounding success”, he added.
Fatodu added that the initiative serves as an effective bridge between the government and private sector professionals, recognising the diverse talent pool within real estate from legal and financial experts to creative professionals.

Mrs. Amuda Marygold, convener of the Real Estate Games, said the Real Estate Games was established to drive collaboration, staff wellness, networking, and direct business relationships between the real estate sector and the general public.

She added that, with the full backing of the Lagos State Sports Commission, the partnership ensures a larger, more structured event for everyone involved.
