He stressed that such partnerships were essential for meaningful societal transformation and encouraged deeper youth engagement.

Engr. Idara commended Mr. Cosmas Olatunde Oluyemo, Deputy Director, Planning, Research and Strategy (PRS), who will be retiring in January 2026, acknowledging his consistent support, particularly in representing the Agency at NYSC camps and CDS meetings. A certificate of  Honour was presented to him on behalf of the CDS group.

Responding to this, Mr. Oluyemo thanked the State Director for the privilege to represent the Agency over the years and expressed gratitude to the CDS group for the honour extended to him. He urged the State Director to appeal to the NOA headquarters to leverage the experience and capacity of corp members during future NOA recruitment processes. In response, Dr. Mustapha Adedeji Tukur, The State Director, National Orientation Agency Lagos State, appreciated the team for their selfless service over the past three years and noted that transforming society requires more than advocacy—it requires consistent individual action. He promised to connect the group with the Lagos State Commissioner for Education, present their concerns to the Director-General of the Agency, and facilitate an opportunity for the CDS leadership to meet with the DG.

The State Director concluded by urging the team to strengthen their efforts at instilling positive values beyond corp members, noting that value reorientation must be sustained across all levels to inspire meaningful societal change.
