‎LNSA Organises 3-Day Skill-Up Scaling Training for Corps Officers on Security Alertness. ‎

 


‎The Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Agency (LNSA) has organised a three-day training programme for its corps officers aimed at enhancing alertness, professionalism, and effective response to emerging security challenges across communities in Lagos State.

‎The training, held at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Orientation Camp, Iyana Ipaja, focused on intelligence gathering, surveillance techniques, community engagement, emergency response, and proactive security measures necessary for maintaining peace and public safety.

‎Speaking during the exercise, the General Manager of the Agency Prince Dr Ifalade Oyekan FISN, emphasised the importance of vigilance, discipline, and timely information sharing in strengthening community security and crime prevention. He noted that the continuous capacity-building initiative forms part of the Agency’s commitment to improving operational efficiency and ensuring that officers remain adequately prepared to tackle evolving security threats.

‎The Agency also expressed appreciation to the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, and his deputy, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, for their unwavering commitment to improving the State’s security architecture, promoting community policing, and strengthening safety initiatives through strategic investments and continuous support for security agencies operating within Lagos State.


‎Participants were encouraged throughout the three-day training to uphold professionalism and collaborate effectively with other security stakeholders in safeguarding lives and property across the State.

‎The training forms part of the Agency’s ongoing efforts to promote a safer and more secure environment for all residents of Lagos State.
