Two members of the Lagos State Taekwondo team have made it to the national team following their scintillating performance at the just-concluded Nigeria Taekwondo Federation National Open trials in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The duo includes Olapeju Oyebanji (Female), who won a gold medal in the Heavyweight (+73kg) category, and Oladimeji Abdullah (Male), who also clinched a gold medal in the Finweight category.
In addition to the gold medals, Team Lagos won four silver and four bronze medals across various categories, sealing a commendable performance to emerge among the top teams in the competition.
