The Executive Chairman of Yaba Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Dr. Kayode Adejare Omiyale, commissioned the newly reconstructed Owodunni Road in Iwaya. This event marks the 1st Year Coronation Anniversary of Oba Sulaiman Owolabi Oloko - the Olu of Iwaya
In his address, Dr. Omiyale highlighted the importance of the road's reconstruction for enhancing transportation, reducing traffic congestion, and improving the overall quality of life for residents. He noted that this project aligns with his commitment to developing critical infrastructure and promoting sustainable urban development in Yaba LCDA.
The commissioning ceremony was attended by various dignitaries, including Hon. Rasheed Adebola Shabi - Member, Lagos State House of Assembly (Lagos Mainland constituency 2), Oba Sulaiman Owolabi Oloko, Otunba Tayo Oyemade - a former Executive Chairman, Lagos Mainland LG, legislative and executive members of the council, many political and community leaders, as well as residents who praised the Chairman's dedication to improving local infrastructure. The reconstructed road is expected to facilitate smoother vehicular movement and boost local economic activities by improving access to businesses and residential areas.
